Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2026–2027 School Year!

Dear Gladiator Students and Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! On behalf of our entire faculty and staff, I am thrilled to welcome you back to campus. Our dedicated Gahr team is deeply committed to your success inside the classroom and across all your extracurricular pursuits. A very special welcome goes out to the many new faces joining us this fall—including our incoming freshmen, new families, and talented new staff members. You are joining a vibrant, compassionate community, and we are honored to have you as part of our Gladiator family!

At Gahr High School, we pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional high school experience built around rich opportunities, meaningful connections, and a supportive culture. High school is a uniquely transformative time, and Gahr is the perfect launchpad to explore your talents. Whether you choose to excel in athletics, perform in our band, take the stage in theater, step into student leadership, or participate in campus clubs, there is something here for everyone. If you have a passion that isn't represented yet, we encourage you to create it—we love seeing our students bring innovative ideas to life.

Our continuing focus is on fostering academic excellence, personal growth, and holistic well-being. We recognize that high school life can occasionally feel busy or demanding, and we are dedicated to supporting you every step of the way through our comprehensive student care team:

  • Dedicated 4-Year Counselors: Every student is paired with a counselor who guides their academic trajectory and personal development from day one through graduation.

  • Mental Health Professionals (MHPs): On-campus specialists available whenever extra personal or emotional support is needed.

  • College & Career Counselors: Ready to help students explore career pathways, discover target universities, navigate application procedures, and prepare for life after high school.

This year, we will collectively focus on strengthening the bridge between home and school. Open, constructive communication is vital to student achievement. If you ever have questions or concerns, please reach out directly to the involved teacher, counselor, or department so we can partner together swiftly and effectively.

Thank you for everything you do to make Gahr High School such a special place. I look forward to an inspiring year ahead and cannot wait to celebrate all that our Gladiators will accomplish!

All the best,

Dr. Keys
