Principal's Message

Dear Gladiators,

Welcome to Gahr High School! We are a STEAM Magnet School that is proud to offer
you many opportunities to choose pathways that will prepare you for college and career. Here at Gahr, the teachers and staff believe “ALL STUDENTS CAN and WILL LEARN.” We work hard to ensure all students have access to the best instructional plans and learning experiences to support your educational endeavors.

We know the plan for all Gladiators is graduation and on to college and career, so take the time to ensure you are diligent in your course selections and mindful of the requirements to complete high school that will place you in the position to choose a college and a career. We have many courses to place you in the position of choice for your selection: Advanced Placement/Honors Program; Arts Technology Academy (ATA); AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination); Project Lead the Way – Biomedical Sciences, Computer Science, or Engineering Pathways; and variety of Career Technical Education (CTE) such as Automotive, Gaming, Sports Medicine, Theater Production, and Video Production.

Because the process of registration is important, you should choose a pathway that will support your college and career plans. The decision you make during registration process will impact your academic course for a full year. The registration process for all Gladiators will take place through counseling meetings during your English  lasses. You are required to obtain teacher and parent signatures to verify that those that support your educational process are aware of your academic choices. We anticipate minimal course changes for this school year, so please be thoughtful in your selection.

Here at Gahr, we offer many programs to support your pursuit of graduation. Being a student at Gahr is not only a choice, it is a privilege. Success is the process of coming to school prepared, being responsible for your studies, and creating a school culture and climate that promote Gladiator spirit and pride.
